Several marches from the interior of Honduras was added Tuesday to the peaceful resistance against the military coup which took place on June 28 in the country, concentrating in the capital city Tegucigalpa and the northern San Pedro Sula.
The protesters, who spent the night on the outskirts of Tegucigalpa, began his walk last August 5 from the departments of central, eastern and south.
To San Pedro Sula, about 250 kilometers from Tegucigalpa, moved from the west, the border areas with Guatemala, the north and the Atlantic coast.
Testimonials arrived at the station Radio Globo, only covered the capital of resistance, they say that the passage of the population went walking in solidarity with food, water, clothing and shelter.
Ponce added that have received donations from several unions, teachers' associations and trusts to assist with that goal.
"There has been a lot of people, children with a bag of bread. The people of Honduras has turned volunteer to help in this struggle to restore constitutional order," said the leader.
The National Front agreed on Sunday at a meeting to increase the peaceful struggle in the streets to restore the rule of law and the return of President Zelaya, overthrown on 28 June.
