God calls me to love them naturally, because it may cost me my nature to find love or not there the natural terrain, but he calls me to love with the redemptive love. redeeming love is the kind of love with which God loves me.
This kind of love is demonstrated in the life of the prophet Hosea. The prophet's wife left him and went to live with another man and Hosea had the humiliating experience of buying it back for him from the sad condition adultery. That experience is to buy again what is already yours. This is the beautiful picture of God's redeeming love. We bought with the blood of Jesus even though they were already yours.
redeeming love knows no shame, nor is it interested in love, or is based on feelings. Jesus had compassion on himself when he was on the Cross and therefore never said: Oh, poor me ...
Hosea bought his wife back, took her sin and disgrace of it as your own and redeeming love it, took it, paid the debt voluntarily and safely brought home again.
redeeming love binds me to others and stay with me though ... The Hosea's wife, never left her husband Hosea.
redeeming love is the strongest bond that can exist in this world without love.
Today the Lord wills that I loved with that redeeming love, now I can not copy the redeeming love of God. It is a matter of trying to make an effort to do so, because that would be the natural love.
I can not determine when I love others. That's why Paul said, speaking of marriage that husbands should love the wife as Christ loved the Church Down.
My only hope is to receive and express God's redeeming love. That love is poured out my heart by the Holy Spirit then the most natural of my relationships comes under the spiritual and redemptive love of God.
That is why the apostle John says, "Beloved, if God so loved us, we must also love one another" I John 4:11. Today I come for God to pour the redemptive love in my being to touch others with that love.
Lord. Thank you for your redeeming love that has reached me. I now want to walk in that love and touch others with that love.
Help me close to you so that you can allow the Holy Spirit baptized me with that internally and redeeming love to share with all who surround me today.
