From Gracias, Lempira a small town in my country Honduras I write:
My name is Clara, I'm Honduran, but at this time I'm more an advocate of freedom of expression for people and their customs. As you know, our country has been disgraced by a small but significant sector of the society of my country, representative of the affluent who can do everything as is common in our poor countries.
What is the "Peace" to a powerful millionaire? What does this word in your little world? And why once again believe that the people are ignorant? Simple, because unfortunately, have the "damn power" that give them the weapons they used to trample as many times as they want. It is outrageous how, from our small villages full of ancient culture is not possible to rule with the forces that we want! Many attempts have been and are threatening us with guns not to proceed ... instead "they" give days off and in some cases forcing their workers to go to rule the streets and then transmit the technology that we deny the farce of an illegitimate government, born of violence and lawlessness. Proclaims peace as the true people living in the camps it was not ... the people are fighting every day to eat, educate their children, to live under the laws of a God full of love, peace and forgiveness.
This is a struggle for power ... damn power! Why use us this way? Why does it look like a cake that everyone can get chopped? After the tragic events of last June 28 have only public office to be shared among family and supporters in the least is in this town think that here in the country that calls for respect for their rights and let them say because they are citizens of this country. The so-called "dialogue" that proclaim both oligarchs of this country, is just one more ploy to suggest to the international community what they want is peace, "Who said we do not want peace? ... We demand a country that respects our democratic rights and living without a state of siege, why are not animals!
cheeks We have no beat, our weapons are the voice and we are silent! I urge all who read these lines, especially the international community not to abandon us. That conclusively pronounce its position as the country through their embassies. Help us from the field because we do not have the sufficient mechanisms to make our voice heard. This is unfortunate, but it is the only way we as a country to make ourselves heard.
For a country full of hope,
Sincerely,
Clara
